and tomorrow I meet with a woman who is selling all her glass making stuff - torches, glass, tools, kiln... I'm really excited, but not feeling really good - think I'm coming down with my kid's flu maybe - I ache all over :( wish I had the energy to clean out the corner of the garage and move my work-bench over there :( then maybe I could melt something tomorrow even... oh well, it will all happen in when it's supposed to.

Pam - I can't even imagine how cool that must be! Good for you! Soak in a hot tub and drink tons of fluids tonight. Maybe you can wash the flu out so you can melt glass tomorrow! I'd be envious if I wasn't just so excited for you!
Excellent!! But take care of yourself. I know exactly where you are coming from. I overworked myself the last couple of weeks and am seriously paying for it with the flu. Drink lots of liquids and sleep lots. The lampworking stuff will all be there when you feel better! ((((((hugs)))))) I am excited for you!
Kandice have you tried the homeopathic remedy for flu? It's called Oscillococcinum by Boiron and I took it twice yesterday/last night and I feel so much better today. At least I feel up to meeting this woman at any rate - I was worried I was going to have to cancel. You can find it at PCC Market or Larry's, maybe even QFC if yours has a good natural foods section.
