:) Thank you sweetie!! That is a combination of ink blue and dark amethyst mixed - it's a very dark grape purple color. :) With teal flowers. I just looooooove purple! Can you tell?

and beautiful, gorgeous beads. HOWEVER it makes finding seed beads to go with them sometimes a challenge!

i took "Tink-beads", and "Kandice-beads", and "Karen-beads" shopping today for matching seed beads. took a friend to help. drove sales ladies [2] crazy trying to get close matches for them.

but BOTH ladies oooh-ed and ahhhh-ed over the beads. "Gee, we don't have any like that here . . . "

It seems to me that different glasses have different color ranges that they may even be unable to get out of. I often find I can't find Japanese beads that match Czech glass, or Austrian crystals that match Italian glass, etc.

I still mourn about not being able to find lampwork in the orange through "rose" you find in flowers. Instead I find people offering rose and pink that are way into the mauve color.
