Thank you Kalera. I was raised with an attitude that if you want to do something go for it. I was never, ever told I couldn't do something. I guess that's why I am the way I am.
I do understand your concerns on teaching, but I have already had about 10 students for free. All of them said they learned more from me than they ever did at any class they have taken before with a local class. I've had one student swear she wasn't taking another class unless it was with me because she was so disappointed with the class she took at our local glass shop. I assured her there are many competent instructors out there, she just needed to find one that taught what she wanted to learn.
I am a very confident instructor. Over the years in my professional life I have taught many classes in a wide variety of topics from JCAHO compliance in hospitals to contract management with the US Government. I know that has helped me to be where I am today. I know I barely have a year under my belt lampworking, but with feedback from my free students I feel confident to go ahead with my class plans. I will continue to receive feedback from my students to improve myself.
I do appreciate all the feedback so far. Keep it up.
Yes. I was going to suggest an RCB challenge.

Did one. I will post a pic tomorrow when it comes out of the kiln. :)
I did a couple too. I can't wait to see yours Kandice.
Okay, here are mine. Of course, I need more practice, but what do you all think of these? The large focal is about 12mm x 18mm. I am probably going to offer these for sale, depending on what everyone thinks.
WOW, beautiful!!!!!!
I did mine too, far from as good as yours... I don't have a camera and the scan came out ugly. Anyway, I don't have a place to post it.

I want them.
Oh wait- no Kandice those suck - I can't believe you'd think of selling them.. Just send them to me and put them out of their misery :)
Ooooooh! This is fun. I can hardly wait to see everyones... since everyone will *see* the idea slightly differently... Beautiful work Kandice! Diana
Oh Kathy, I can't believe how incredibly generous you are being to Kandice...offering to take ALL of those horrid beads (sidesteps the bolt of lightening). She won't possibly ask you to burden yourself with all of them, so I came up with a solution....send half to me! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
And my second KLUNK has arrived!!!! drool drool drool drool
~Candace~ your local hemp goddess :)
Those are awesome Kandice. I would snatch them up in a heart beat if I thought I could afford them...

I voted then found out it was won yesterday by someone else. LOL -- that's me, a day late and a dollar short!

Yes, yes, please!
LOL, ok, ok... I'll see if I can find the camera... if not I'll see if I can coax a decent pic out of the scanner!
