Looks like someone is offering up usenet access on the web. The registered owner of the domain is in GA and I didn't recognize the name.

I have never seen this place. Interesting that they are calling it bead craft forum.

I think it's very interesting. They're essentially acting as a mirror for the usenet in repeating this group on their site. I can't say it's all that amusing that they're making money off it though.

vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "Su/Cutworks" :

there are several places on the web that do that. and for other groups. many ISPs have quit carrying usenet. also, many people just don't understand usenet and this give them a way to read.
]I wonder if I can do a no-archive to keep my messages off their site, ]as they're making money from advertising on the bottom of the page.
probably not. i've always had the 'no-archive' set and mine show up anyway.

In the site navigation links at the bottom is an "automatic removal" link. From there you can enter the email address you use to post and they say they will remove your posts (just from their mirror of the group, I would suppose.)

It's not interactive... you ca't post from there. It seems to be purely an advertising vehicle.
