where can I find small flat nose pliers

Question

I have some flat nose pliers that are about 4mm on the tips.  I'd like tofind some smaller 2-3mm ones.  The smalles Rio Grande has is about 3.5mm.Anyone know another good source for pliers?

-- look at the notched flat nosepliers.One of the people in our wire class at WH had those.  They were really neat.The only problem is that Rock Haus is wholesale only -- you must have resalenumber to order from them.Also Jessie had several flat nose pliers that had been modified by grindingthe tips.  My husband has promised to do that for me, but I haven't bought apair for him to grind down yet. Yep, those look like they'd work, but I don't have a resale number either. Darn.

I thought about the grinding too, because I think that's what my teacher last year had done to some of her pliers, but I wouldn't know who would have the equipment to do that.

What are the notched or ground pliers good for? What do you do withthem that works better with them than with pliers with standard ends?Deirdre

Use your dremil for ginding down the pliers.  You can use a vice to hold thedremel in position to use as a grinder head. You should be able to find awheel that will work.Susan W

Hi Deirdre,

I'm not sure what notched pliers are for. What I want is smaller flat nose pliers. If you look at this bracelet:

you can see where the wire is pulled up in front of the stone. If you look close to the bracelet, you can see where I turned the wire up with the pliers. I would like smaller pliers for making that area smaller.
