]Ive seen some pages done by a friend that reflect the love she has put into ]the designs.

my sister is working on one "The A to Z of DD" and there are some radio stations in her area that hire her to do ones for them. but the one she is working on for my niece has taken her over three years now, and is up to 2 volumes. it is so obviously HER work of love for her daughter.

Same reason people buy cross-stitch whatever kits with the picture part done, and only the background to fill in.... Now, if they were available the OTHER way, I might be interested....

Things like this start as "creative hobbies", but if popular enough, become something one HAS to do. If one does not have the talent, but has the "need", then one buys as much as possible pre-made... the product is what's important, to show off to all one's friends. Until the NEXT "creative hobby" comes around... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Cynical but true.

Tina

What really cracks me up is that they all seem to beg for others NOT to copy their designs - how would they ever know?

I'm wondering though, if the designs featuring Disney characters aren't copyright violations... seems like they would be...

I do have a ? though. Since I've never done any of this - what are the tags used for? And how would you shut a scrapbook with all those 3-D things in it? Am I missing the point somehow? LOL I thought scrapbooks were to store pics and 2-D momentos. I must really be behind the times! Plus I always have scads of pictures - I've filled up I don't know how many conventional albums. If I scrapbooked them all this energetically, I'd have to buy another house to store them in!

I'm not believing this... there are 57 pages of these things! AWCK!!!

DEFINITELY. unless they bought them retail and are reselling them [as stickers, or something] but if they are hand-drawn, or computer generated, they are extremely illegal.

this particular craft seems to be "expanding past ridiculous" and taking in whatever they think people will fall for.
