You never know who's a beader

Looking thru the Fire Mountain 30th Anniversary catalog, I suddenly spotted something I hadn't seen before. At the bottom of page 320 is a customer compliment letter... from MERCEDES LACKEY!!!

Oh yeah - and there's another Sci Fi author that's a big beader, too. Wrote a couple of books with Anne McCaffrey and her name now escapes me....

Elizabeth Moon, maybe?

I checked out Lackey's site, and am relieved to note that most of her work is seed-bead stuff. Means I don't have to worry about being in competition with her in a second area! (Filking being the first.) Very nice seed-bead stuff it is, too.

I know of another author who dabbles in jewlery, had her first book recently published, books called 'Family Bites', IIRC, her name is Lisa Williams.

YES I could not think of her name and Marilee and Carol seemed to not be reading this thread, LOL. (I knew they would know).
