Any tips on how to digitize and stitch the perfect patch?

In order to assist you, I need much more information of the type of machine, what do you want digitized, etc before even talking about stitching? Emily

I'm using a brother UTL2004D machine. I use Embird Digitizing Studio to digitize. I'm trying to digitze a patch for our local fire department that is on fabric but has a satin border. What is the best way to do this? Any hints or tips?

Funny! I am stitching out a Patch I did while typing this, Using the built in Frames and Lettering of my Brother PE-300S and a Native Design I have, it's for the Native American Martial Arts Club.

Didn't recall this design having so many Stitches!
