Anyone try machine embroidery on paper/vellum/cardstock to create Christmas cards? Any links to projects details online?

Thanks.

've only tried one - a Celtic design (quite dense) on regular card stock.I was very pleased with the result. I used a new #12 needle.

Thank you! That's just what I was looking for.

Thank you for this link I've often thought about it after seeing it done by Nancy Zeiman but I was put off by the thought of breaking my needles. Guess I'll give it a go. How long does a needle last?

My 13 y o daughter has just done a design on balsa wood without breaking the needle. But I always wear glasses when using the emb machine as I cut my face with a bit of broken needle before. She did say that her design was too dense and a less dense wouls work much better. Ann
