help with font

I need help with the curlz font. I make it bold and change the pull compensation to 0.2mm and it still is not as clear and bold as I need it. You can't even see the curlz on the font. Can anyone please give any advise on this. TAI

1) What embroidery program are you using? 2) Are you using a pre-made alphabet or a computer font? 3) What size are you trying to make it?

layout & editing? I assume you mean PE Design.

I just tried it, and see no particular problem at that large size. PED doesn't give you a lot of flexibility; it seems to allow only its own pre-set sizes. So set the font size to 75mm (3 inches) before entering the text, and resize later..

Or do you mean that your text should be 2.5 inches LONG? If so, what letter height are you talking about? Curlz has VERY thin strokes and won't do well at small sizes, no matter what you do.

BTW - this isn't a binaries group, so you can't post attachments here. You can either post a link to the image on a website or move the conversation to alt.binaries.crafts.pictures.

For many of those problems I use more underlayment. Build up several layers of underlayment before the actual satan stitch on top. The letters don't get so raggedy on certain materials then.
