I was about to buy the Janome 300E until I read posts to this group that it may not work with Embird. Do we know if this is really the case? Seems unbelievable to me - would probably stop me buying the machine.

Dear Penny,
I just bought the machine and LOVE IT. As for working with embird, yes it does. It saves in the JEF format. There are two embird problems: It will sometimes drop colors in some designs when you convert from say PES to JEF. And your hoop size isn't listed, use the 10000 hoop size instead. I love having the bigger field on the 300E.
