I'm going to start a quilting project soon and I have a vague notion of what I want to do: combine quilting with embroidery. I also want to do it Kona White/Snow and loads of purples.
I am looking for suggestions (not to send me the designs) for the embroidery. I would like it to be applique and be in the 5x7 or larger size.
Any thoughts ... I'm open to almost anything.

Have you looked at the "Latte" quilt by Kerrie Hay. There is a Yahoo group devoted to it. Lots of people have done it in alternative colours.
What is a "latte" quilt? I've seen the name before but don't understand what it means.
