Depending on how much you need, you could use regular sewing thread for those colors, as it is easier to find. Look here for a listing of some skin/hair colors in Madeira thread (save the names/color numbers to order them where ever you can)

I'll give that a try - I've also discovered that I can reduce the thread count so the colours come up more faint, Ann
