they are used in place of water soluble stabilizers like Sulky's Solvy. You can use them to stabilise stand alone lace. After stitching on the bag, you dissolve it and have lace. I have used them to do hundreds of Christmas ornaments for quick gifts. Check out
Many thanks Hannah's Mom and apologies for delay in responding but we have just sold our home ready to have our narrowboat built and time seems to be flitting past so fast LOL..Regards ConnieD who hopes to be living aboard a norrowboat by August 2004 and has hubby draw up designs specifically so I can use fit my Horn cabinet on board along with my Brother Galaxie 2000.
