Another "I'm Back"

Just saw your post....welcome back!! Our group is growing and growing again.....like Topsy, as they used to say in the UK!

If I had my way, I'd move all the forums everywhere back onto Usenet. So simple, so elegant.

On my local group some idiot who ran a forum decided to 'link' his forum to our usenet group. It was pandemonium. People on forums do not edit, or include anything from the post they were answering. They also seemed to be all somewhere in the region of 14 to 25, filthy mouths and completely clueless about politics etc. In the end we raided their forum and started disrupting it, that's when the owner dismantled the link. Our usual raving peace and quiet returned lol

I have had so many people applying to join rctnp the last few days I must remember to bore you all every so often by posting the link, it is after all a sister group to this. Three of them said they often saw mention of it but being lurkers they didn't know where/how to find it.

There's a mirror site like that on the other board I inhabit. A bunch of AOLers who never made the transition to regular InternetVille.
