back to an old friend

Now that the other big project is done, I was able to pick up a piece I hadn't worked on in at least 2-3 months and it felt like spending time with an old friend. Do you get that feeling when you return to a UFO?

The project: Rosewood Manor's "And a Forest Grew." Still growing... (pretty much the left side is full-grown, the central motif -- the BIG tree -- is still a seedling ).

the irony is, if I worked straight through on this project, I'd probably be frustrated with it, too. But it was fun to pick it up again, even for a few days before jumping into some holiday ornaments! Sue

Hi Susan,

This is exactly why I so love the rotation system. Each time I get back to a project, after sometimes many many weeks, I'm reminded again of why I started it and who it's for. Warm and fuzzy.

Sometimes you go back and wonder "why did I stop this"? And others it's just a few stitches and I remember why LOL!
