Those bags do squish down pretty well, but the one I kept my Christmas clothes in didn't stay sealed very well. The bag still took up less room than keeping them in a drawer would have, but I would NEVER trust them to be water tight and the vacuum thing only works if your vacuum cleaner nozzle is big enough to fit around the little plastic part. Has anyone tried those Zip Loc brand of giant bag? I like the idea of the Space Bags, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. It does help to know that there are no spiders or other crawley creatures getting into my sheets, blankets or off season clothes when they are tucked away for the season. Liz from Humbug P.S. I've gotten the big Ziploc bags - they are pretty good, but I would how tough they really are. I'm am REALLY tempted by the space bags - I could use a way to store the down comforter off season.
