Christmas in April

Apr 19, 2005 7 Replies

OK, I don't know about everybody else, but it seems I always figure out what I want for Christmas *after* Christmas!! It has gotten so bad that I put a Christmas list section on the household dry erase board so that I can write things down when I think of them, lest I forget by October when the family requests my wish list for my Nov. birthday and Christmas.

I've always gotten lots of ideas from RCTN, so let's swap wishes! Maybe someone else has something on a wish list I didn't even know existed (but when I find out about it, will surely want it added to my stash!).

SOOOOOO......what's on *your* wish list?

Right now I am thinking of a different attachment for holding pattern books for my Grip-It floor stand. I have the "hold it close" attachment, but it won't hold anything heavier than a couple of pieces of paper, unless I just don't know how to use it!

Ok - my wish list - that is hard

San-Man Originals has a few, Ladybug, Ladybug, Dragonfly Days/Firefly Nights and Lightning bugs floating on the breeze.

There are several from Long Dog Samplers.

Hands down, covet a Leon Conrad piece, Medieval Majesty. Now that would truly be a wish.

Otherwise, some time and some peace and quiet.

A maid so that I can devote my limited energies to stitching!

I suppose a whole bolt of 18-count off-white would be nice.

Silver Lining is out with a new chart, and I'm heading to LNS this week to pick it up. If I'm allowed to wish for absolutely anything, for Marc Saastad to finally get the motivation to do my lilies of the valley in the blue vase.

My wish list is easy - enough time to actually stitch the stuff I have on hand! Kim

Stitching related: A new floor stand, but I don't know which one I want yet Ott-Light Easel lamp

General wishes:

0.7 cu ft chest freezer Patio furniture Tickets to see certain Broadway musicals in the fall/winter season when they show here in Chicago

"Kim McAnnally" had some very interesting things to say about Re: Christmas in April:

Tell me about it. :-)

That my arthritis would chill out! Little hard to stitch with "fat" hands, and getting behind on models here!!! ARGH! Oh well ...

Okay, this is the 2nd or 3rd message I've seen about a new chart but no one says what it is!!! What's the new chart?
