I am a quilter who is in the middle of doing a challenge quilt that I am making for our guild show. We have several fabrics to incorporate into the final piece, which can be any design we want. Well, most of the fabrics were not too hard to use but now I am stuck with a piece of white tulle which doesn't seem to want to fit anywhere in my design. So... I was wondering... would I be crazy to try doing some cross stitch on the tulle and appliqueing the final result onto my quilt top? I have done cross stitch before and could probably find a small motif that would be appropriate - it's just the technical aspects of working on tulle instead of aida that I am wondering about. I figured you folks would be the best people to ask.
Thanks for any words of advice
Allison
