Danger - Floss boxes!

I did it with a cable knitting needle - stumbled as I was walking past a knitting UFO I had messed up. I suspect a crochet hook would be a bit harder to get out than a knitting needle.

After starting to read this group, I finally admitted I wasn't going to finish the knitting and got rid of it.

OUCH. I had the tractor with mower deck running - catch on fire - it was too full, and DH & hockey buddy stood there laughing as I was yelling about the flames shooting up around the middle of the John Deere. No one hurt - but some pride and learning not to let the lawn get too long.

Ah, my hematologist - similar. Went back for one of my quarterly visits and had to see obnoxious, condescending partner who reminded me of why I quite med school oh so many years ago. Anyhow - nurse said Dr. M had an accident while on vacation in Florida - will be out for several weeks. We're concerned, ask for him, etc. Come to find out - broken arm, needs surgery. When we see him in person a couple of months later - he fell out of the golf cart. Can you say party golf? He was really flipped out about it (golfs in SFl with DB and friends) as concerned for his dexterity, etc. Docs - the worst patients.

Glad to hear you're doing better. We've had a week of trying to become full blown flu type of cold/sore throat, etc. But, seems to be moving on.

Glad to hear that! That`s something you DON`T want hanging around. I`m glad we had our flu jabs last month - the LAST thing I need at the moment is a bad cough!

Isn't that the truth. We were in Costco last weekend, and they were doing flu-shots, and DH refused one. I knew I couldn't (allergy to stuff in the vaccine) but hadn't realized the last time he had one, he ended up really sick for 2 weeks, so...

I haven't had a bad cold or anything for several months, which is unusual. I know the blood is due for some help, as I'm showing the anemia gone south signs - but happy the immune system is holding up. DH is nagging that I need to make the rounds - but, well, what a bore. Plus I need my Hep B booster, and I hate that. If all goes as usual, I'm good til sometime in late Jan or Feb when the annual bronchitis or laryngitis or both will hit me. Til then, it's all good.

Take care of the ribs, and the worrying about your friends and family.
