Haven`t used Stitch bows myself, but have heard others say that they are not much good - no doubt you`ll get loads of opinions about them on here!

I've been using the LoRan system for several years and it seems to accommodate the new colors without much problem. Good luck and welcome back to a great obsession!

I haven't seen or heard of this. Of course, I have been in the dark a while.

I decided to just try one "set" of stitchbow stuff. One case (not binder, hate binders) and see how it goes. Well, I'm seeing the advantage to the binder since the plastic case doesn't want to grip the "bows" very securely. We shall see. For $12 it was worth a shot. I won't have lost much in the way of time, effort or $ if it fails to impress.

thanks for the welcome. I sat down during storm-time (I'm on the Gulf Coast where daily "seabreeze" storms take me off my work computer for a few minutes a day) and went to work on that neglected project. Only to discover that when I had last worked it, apparently I didn't notice that one symbol was a color combination, not a single color. Not sure how I missed it. so... got to rip stitches. Sometimes I don't mind about things like that but it kept bothering me that the object in the chart was all grays because IRL it wouldn't be. Well.. it isn't! Turns out there was supposed to be a grey/olive mix in there.

So..I knew getting back into it meant relearning a few things. But how did I miss that the first time?
