fabric shops in Philly or Archives...

Please post this info to the group, as we have a family wedding in May of '06 in Philly and my DH is usually good about visiting stitching shops, so I know I can get him to take me to a fabric shop.

Any not to miss needlework shops in Philly? We'll only have two days before the wedding to explore, so it would have to either be in Philly or very close by.

Do you mean Kathy Dyer's site, or do you need to know how to do a search on Google? I don't recall there being an 'archive' on aol (but maybe I've been out of the loop since the beginning).

If you are looking for Kathy Dyer's site, do a search on Google. If you don't know how to use google, enter your search terms in the box beside rec.crafts.textiles.needlework; e.g. fabric stores Philly. If you can't find the post you are looking for with those terms, try other ones. If you use the search box at the top of the page, it will search all groups on Usenet. I'm looking for a fabric shop. Like JoAnne's but bigger. In DC we had G Street, which carried just about every type of fabric you could imagine. I thought I read that there was some huge, super priced one in Philly proper.
