Dianne, you are more forgiving than I. But I'm glad she'd DONE! C

Life can be difficult. We can start out the day on a good note and have it disappear by mid afternoon. Sometimes, it's so hard that you think you can't stand it anymore. Then, you'll get a small ray of sunshine that gives you hope. For me, there's been a lot more "light" than anything else. When I think of all the hours it took to stitch her, I just glow inside knowing how many gave of their time . . . which is indeed precious these days. Lots more of that loving time than there has been dark days.

Yesterday, I typed a very long "vent" for an RCTN audience, and then, when I was through, deleted it. Everyone here has their stories. Some more bleak than others. I'd rather look at this angel (funny philosophy coming from an athiest)on a positive note and try to forget the Tom foolery. She's bigger than all of us.

She's positively beautiful! I hate to ask, but I don't see the wisper on the wings...Tia Mary, could you do a close up photo of it? I would love to see what the stuff looks like!

Congratulations to all on a beautiful finish!

You don't see the Wisper because I haven't laundered the piece yet so haven't brushed the Wisper up. I wanted to wait until I was finished dragging the poor thing from one shop to the next and laying all sorts of mat board, etc. on her before I washed her. Once I get her washed and ready for framing with the Wisper all brushed up, I'll take another photo. If you want to see Wisper in all it's furry glory. go to my Webshots Needlework album and look at the kitty titled Cassie. She's been done in Wisper -- unfortunately all you can really see is a sort of feathery shadow around the edges. THAT is the Wisper. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

PAX, Tia Mary (RCTQ Queen of Kitties) >^;;^< Angels can't show their wings on earth but nothing was ever said about their WHISKERS! See my Webshots albums at

Oh, Cassie is very pretty! I can see the softness of the fur!

I will try to be patient and wait until you lug that thing all over creation and back before you wash it up and fluff the Wisper then.

Oh, did I tell you that my MIL is a professional framer?

As a Newbie, I have to ask....what is an MIL?

HEHE I hope this isnt too dumb of a question!!

MLI is Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum, the designer of the Angel we have been stitching. And there's no such thing as a dumb question -- just dumb answers :-)! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Nope, not dumb. MIL is mother-in-law, at least most of the time I see it used it is. :)

Tia Mary...uncross your eyes! I said (and shan repeated) MIL, not MLI! I was referring to Mother-In-Law in my message.

Now, I highly suggest that you get some serious rest, with your eyes closed for relaxation, a good drink and some nice chocolate to bring you back to your normal self again....

And I hope you aren't trying to stitch anything in your condition!

Oh Sheesh -- had I posted MIL in my original post -- LOLOL?? Wouldn't surprise me one bit -- I meant MLI for Marilyn Leavitt Imblum :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

LOLOL -- OOOO you're naughty this am but I do agree -- not sure just

*where* my brain was last evening :-))). After I responded to the other thread about the framing, I realized it probably sounded like I was kvetching at Lucille and the others who posted what they would prefer. Not the case at all so I hope I didn't upset anyone!! If I did, I apologize. Heck, that's the whole reason for trying out different frames and mats, etc. -- so that everyone can see what's available AND looks nice with the Angel and then **give their opinion**. Not one of the possibilities I have at the Webshots album is anything like what I would personally choose if the piece were to hang in my home. Anyway -- I had a nice hot bath after I posted that and went soundly to sleep.

Well thank goodness for that round of sleep. I can totally understand the dyslexia on the MLI vs. MIL. They are so very hard to tell apart most of the time! I have a tendency to be dyslexic when I am tired too...thus no sewing lest I sew my fingers together!

I was just letting you know that my Mother-In-Law is also a framer, and I would be willing to take the angel down to her house and let her play with mats and frames and prices while you are in Lizard Land if you want....

MIL stands for mother-in-law.

ps--An old, but useful phrase is that there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers.
