I'm making a fleece blanket for my friend's birthday. Its on the smaller side. I was wondering if anyone new a simple and fast way to finish it off? Thanks!

down to single layer fringed fleece blanket. they haveinstructions. You cut in and make fringes. then tie two fringestogether, then the next two, and so on. Not sure if this is what you would like. The scouts did this and it was simple and quick. But the result is very casual.
