Hi there.

I though this group might be interested in the cross-stitch frame and stand that I make.

Oh no, we have our own resident frame and stand maker - our one and only Fred who has been here forever - well so to speak eh Fred lol

*Eh* what ??? I haven't posted here for a while so I'm out touch with the new jargon.

My stitching mentor and LNS owner reminded me that she commissioned me to design two different models of bobbin winders. I'm too proud to mention how long ago she first asked. The day after I delivered the first model she put in an order for a dozen she sold the same day. Priced at $85+ (my wholesale price) I didn't think they would move that fast and that was the cheapie model. The fancy one, 1/2 half still on the drawing board, the other 1/2 assembled will be well over $155 (my wholesale price). If my DW ever gets the notion to take up needle and thread I think I will have a heart attack.

Plus since Nov. I have been in out of ER more times that I can remember. After numerous x-rays, an MRI, a colon movie shoot, a Cat scan and more blood tests than Dracula ever took I told the docs. that I thought I had an intestinal bug and to give me something to kill it. Hey I'm getting better and feeling quite chipper whatever that means.

Plus, stand and fabric mount production stopped for a few days. I had to build a large garden shop for my DW. Seems she was getting tired of searching for her lawn mower, snow blower, garden tools and bicycle between the piles of wood.

I would have told her to put her stuff back where she found it after using it and she would always know where to find it but I like to eat. LOL

Glad to know you feel (and sound) more chipper. I just felt a sense of outrage that some man felt he could waltz in here and start trying to sell us frames etc.
