Geometric shapes online coloring?

Feb 03, 2009 3 Replies

Does anyone know of an online site where I can draw my own geometric shapes and then color them in? Quilters might - I am looking for something to design my own quilt pattern and want to try a couple of ideas.

TIA!

Linda, there are some demos out there, such as for E-quilter that might let you do that. You can also check out Jinny Beyer's site, there's quite a bit of info there, as well as the American Quilters Society, AQS. But, maybe try RCTQ - that's a pretty active group. I'm sure they'll be able to answer. Joen Wolfram is another one who may have something, she's written a couple of great books with instructions about the basics and more of drafting quilt blocks - what types will match up, etc - and a fabulous color theory book as well.

I use my graphics software (Illustrator), which is also what Ido stitch diagrams with - and honestly, depending on what you're doing, youmight be able to even use the limited graphics tools in WORD, if you haveit.

I imagine Tia Mary may have something up her proverbial sleeve, as well.
