Idea/help/coloring pages

I am looking for a specific type of picture/coloring page, but am not sure how to search for it! It would be a picture that is essentially made up of all parts touching one another - sort of like Doodle Art, but not necessarily that detailed, with all the different little lines, but nonetheless all one large mass. Sort of like a Lisa Frank drawing or one of those in American Girl magazine - almost a hidden picture kind of thing. Any one have any ideas? (I have one that is a jungle scene - animals among all the leaves - and I want something similar!)



I am sure this is as clear as mud LOL, but any help is appreciated!

Try looking at "fractals," "blackwork," and "stained glass." Heartland House did a series of stained glass windows (including Frank Lloyd Wrights) that might suit. If you go to

of the biscornu patterns (you can search for those at Hoffman site under keyword search) will have this type of pattern also. The digital magazine, The Gift of Stitching, June issue has a bumper crop of biscornu's at

and some of the blackwork and other designs might suit. At one of the previous year's markets (past two years I think) there were also some kits to introduce dinky dyes that were "doodle" or fractal types; can't remember exact name of designer or pattern..

Just Nan does more floral/scrollish than geometic doodle-art, but some of hers might suit also.

Some might - I'm looking for something between doodle art and all of its small parts and stained glass with large expanses.
