Just like in the 2000, we watched the This Pope`s visit with great curiousity , I have noted that this time the clothes of the Pope as well as of his Entourage , were less embroidered than the Former Pope`s clothes , Also i think [by the way the clothes mooved in the winds , that the basic materials were less heavy ,, All in all the clothes are impressive , the use of colour is interesting ,

IIRC, each pope selects how he wants his raiment to look. The clothes of the others would be determined by thier religious orders. According to my aunt, who is a nun, the individual orders determine the style, color and cloth available for use. Hers did away with the formal habit in the 70's, but still does set limits on what can be worn (nothing flashy or too stylish, basically).
