Home for homeless needlework supplies and kits?

Do I remember reading here that there was once a home for homeless needlework supplies and kits? If so, does it still exist? I mentioned that there once was such a thing on another group, and I seem to have found some potential donors.

There was someone years ago but, IIRC, she had asked if anyone else wanted to take on the job. Sorry, but I don't remember if anyone did.

Not sure where you are located, or if you would ship if need be, but I know there is a secondhand craft shop in Fairport, NY where my daughter lives. Last time we were up there visiting, I checked out the shop. They have EVER Ything imaginable for crafts, sewing, needlewoork, knit/crochet, etc. etc., all donated. All proceeds from shop sales benefit the local senior service s. Here is their website:
