Hi all, I'm sure this has been covered before but I need to bring it up again. I was wanting to buy a hoop stand for embroidery projects and was looking at Tristan Brooks' stuff:

love to hear opinions on the better system (ie. clamp vs. sit-on vs. tabletop). I have numerous lap and floor stands for scroll frames but need something for hoops for stuff like goldwork and needlepainting. I've been clamping my hoops to the lap/floor stands and it's just not comfortable!TIA, Jeanine in Canada
