In search of Teresa Wentzler's original The Castle chart

I've recently been dragooned into joining a SAL with quite a few others who have had TW's The Castle chart for years but for one reason or another have never done so. Now, I KNOW I had the original chart way back when it first came out because my SO was enamoured of the dragon. I can't find that chart. I, for reasons that I've forgotten, apparently bought the whole thing as a kit at some point, knowing I'd probably toss the fabric. Well, seems as though I must have tossed the chart instead! I know I have the modified chart in the Best of Teresa Wentzler book, but I would really, really like to have the three toed dragon, instead. Does anyone have the chart laying around unused, used, will never be used, that they might be willing to part with? I'd be more than willing to pay whatever we could agree on as a fair price. Plus postage.

I would sure appreciate any help with this search! We don't start until January, so I know I still have time to do a room to room search, but I'd almost rather take the easy way out! Tegan

Hey Tegan - you might could press gang me into this as well. I'm sure I have the chart, and might even be able to find that box in the unpacking by January! I KNOW that I labelled the boxes from my office &/or studio with such clear labels as XS/knit/yarn/stuff....

It might inspire me to actually do this. Plus, if ...er I mean WHEN... It's finished I could put it near the castle poster which I had elaborately framed from the Chateau in Saumur, and the one of some illustrated manuscript for Women in Medieval Literature.

So, I can't volunteer to send you my chart. But we could talk about it- 'caus I really am going to do it -yup, fer sure ;^)

ROFLMAO!

I had started the job here before we moved from Redding, so DH was in charge of the packing, and although *his* boxes were labelled with the Dewey Decimal Numbers of the books inside, *my* boxes were labelled "K Stuff". Not even "K Books", "K Yarn" (which certainly he could differentiate between!), just a zillion boxes labelled "K Stuff".

Needless to say, every move after that, he was ordered to stay the heck out of my closet, I'll pack my stuff myself, thank you.

I pulled a piece of fabric out of stash just last month. After I get moved, I plan to start this. It will be a gift for someone very special!

I belong to an overwhelmingly large (well, the group isn't that large but the amount of mail.. OY!) email group that has set up an off shoot group devoted to a SAL to The Castle. If you wanna join us, I'd be happy ask List Mum (Mum is in London, otherwise she'd be a List Mom.. LOL) if "outsiders" are welcome to join our off-shoot group. I'm hoping they can guilt me into stitching more often than once a month, as is my usual method.. LOL Tegan
