one above(Fractal 1) is the one I am working on. It has 40 pgs of instructions and fun to work on. I have 25 pages to go to finish it....It might be done in 4 years. I love the free patterns you can get on this site.Enjoy Barbara

All I can say is WOW!!!!!! I would be either dead or in a nut house before I got to far. It is intriguing, though! How great to be young LOLOL

I really love Solaria's stuff, but I haven't yet seen a sample of any of it finished. How do they compare?

I'm doing one of her small freebies (White Lily). She doesn't use any backstitching, and the charts are wonky (download a free one to see what I mean ... no gridlines). The overall effect on White Lily is very watercolor like, but I'm not enthralled with it, which is why I probably haven't finished yet.

You can see a WIP picture on my blog at

've read elsewhere that her patterns are meant to be stitched gobelin-style, which might change the overall effect, but I'm doing mine asplain old cross stitch.Rachel

Allura, I made this picture below it was very nice when finished and easy to follow directions barbara

I thought gobelin-style was needlepoint, from what I can tell? Tent stitch?

I love the colors she uses, but no one design has dragged me away yet.
