DD has posted a sign in her room - "I'm the QUEEN of HOCKEY" and while I can chart the lettering, my crowns look odd.
Think it would look cute on her door?

I think it would look adorable on her door and why not instead of a crown, do some kind of jeweled skate as a tiara and a hockey stick for a scepter.
'cause she's my princess! LOL I do like the hockey stick part though!

2-3 inches square more or less, I can adapt colors. I've charted a hockey stick that I'll backstitch her name on.

Cheryl, try this: Find a picture of a crown on the web that you like. Copy the picture onto a word document and resize it to 2-3 inches. Get some 14ct (or whatever you're using) graph paper and put it in your printer. Print. Works pretty slick. You might have to fudge a few edges, since you don't know how it will line up with the lines but it's no big deal. I've done that for a few things now, namely the horse on my @ badge and the chair on a bookmark, both of which are in my webshots album:

And if you don't have graph paper you can download it from the web - several sites have MS Word docs containing graph paper (lin, lin/log, log/log etc) at various scales
At least with the MAC version of MS Office, there are several graph paper stationery sheets available in the program. You just go to the Project Center, then open under "Students-Teachers" and it will pop up a list including "Graph Paper" . Selecting that will show templates of several grids. Works a charm - opens in Excel, but could be imported into anything.
