Here's a picture of the jersey I knitted for my nephew (18months) for Christmas:

Very nice - I like the color too! Linda
Lovely. That's the kind of sweater I used to love to knit.
That's the kind of sweater I love to wear (hint, hint)
Huh--do I hear a voice????
Years ago I would have said yes in a minute, just for the love of doing a pattern. Now I really wish I could still do that but my wrists and shoulders just don't want to cooperate. Even knitting on the heavier weight, plain stockinette sweater I'm doing now is hurting.

no, you're hallucinating again.
who said 'age is wasted on the young'?
Isn`t it just? I just bought myself a sweater of that shade!

I know, you northerners will be ticked off with me....but I would love it to be cold enough to wear sweaters!! I carry three I have knitted in the RV, and possibly once a year one gets pulled out to be worn!

Which is why, nowadays, I only knit cardigans for myself. I can put one on on a cool morning, unbutton it by noon, take it off completely after lunch and put it on again in the evening, all without mussing up my hair etc.

We could always do a swap next year - your house for my condo - I believe I could hack a warm winter lol
Come up for a visit! Bring them all!
Cheryl
Well, gee, Gill, come on up! They're predicting record low temps next week...you could wear all three at the same time! LOL
From the NWS: TEMPERATURE (F) RECORD HIGH 52 01/10/1990 LOW -43 01/30/2004 01/11/1912
I suppose I could also loan you an extra jacket...or two! :)
Joan
Very nice - looks lovely, he should enjoy it!

Thanks. It was left over from a jersey I knitted my Dad, and was originally bought for one for myself.
