Mirabilia's Fairy Moon

Hi everyone,

By now everyone is probably sick and tired of hearing me say I'm going to finish this darn piece, but this time, I cross my heart and promise I ***will*** finish it this year. I pulled the old girl out and she's

2/3 finished, so not much left to do.

Now for my question... First, I have her on a huge floor frame because the fabric is 25 inches square. I'm thinking about taking it off, and changing to 11 inch Q-snaps, as I thought it would be more manageable to work on, and I would be able to watch TV and stitch. What do you think?

Second, it was recommended that I change the beads for the moon to Mill Hill petites, should they be put on with a 1/2 cross, or full cross stitch? My concern is if I do them with a full cross as someone suggested, they would be sitting vertically, but the larger beads would be put on with a half cross would be sitting on an angle. Wouldn't that look a little strange?

thanks...Linda in B.C., Canada
