Finished in 2006, and New Year Resolution.

OK, here goes.

  1. Heritage Stitchcraft...Oast Houses ( and framed!)

  1. Great Bear ... The Wedding Gift ( framed and carried to the couple in Japan.)

3.Fulmer Craft..Circular picture of the Grand Tetons. (to be framed).

  1. Heinzeit "Christmas"; well, almost finished, have to sew on the charms.

5, Heinzeit "Navy"; same as above

  1. Pretty birthday card for DDIL, bought in Niagara Falls; stitched, finished and mailed.

For me, that is pretty darn good.

New Year Resolution, same as last year. Sit down for an hour or so each day to stitch on UFOs, and maybe start something new. Maybe I will keep to it this year!!

Finished.

  1. Top of one jewelry box (have a second one to compliment on the go)

  1. Two towels, two napkins - Falling Leaves pattern

  2. Two fish hand towels for Blue's bathroom

  1. I finally hung some stitching in the house; grouping of 4 bathroom pieces and grouping of 3 winter pieces

New Years Resolution

To spend more time working on the projects I have at hand, and less on thinking about working on other projects (I.E. procrastinate). :-) I spend way too much time avoiding some things, wishing they were something else. If I buckled down and finished them, then I could move on to what I wish they were.

Forgot that I knitted a throw for my 10 year-old grand-daughter, and scarves for FIL, and FIL's wife!

I WILL get more done this year, rather than twiddle on the computer. However, I have been listing *masses* of cross-stitch stuff on the O&I auction, trying to dimish my stash, in case we sell the house!

Finished 7 or 8 items, most notably Marbek "Garden Angel" and 4 My Boys "O Night Divine."

Resolutions for 2007:

  1. Stitch at least 3-4 evenings a week.
  2. Finish current project, Heart in Hand "Perfect Pumpkin."
  3. Finish MLI "The Quilter" (a little more than 1/3 done).
  4. Start and finish 3 self-kitted projects.
  5. Start Lizzie*Kate first flip-it series.
  6. Help daughter become more proficient in basic knitting.
  7. Copy this down and post in 10 places at home so I don't forget what I have resolved! lol

It is a site where folk put their surplus stash up for auction, and other folk come to buy, so they can build up their own stash!! It now has quite a few people who were on the old, now defunct, Cross-Stitch Auction (CSA). The nice part is that there is absolutely no fee for posting items, or bidding on items. I have quite a lot of stuff up there now using the name gillianm.

people seem to want to "get rich" from it, and price their articles not far from retail price. You learn to recognise those as you go along. I have "met" some real nice folk there! Gill
