House reruns hershey treasures

Linda

Normally I would agree on the House reruns, but today I'm sitting here like a dope watching a silly movie about a Golden Retriever because Puff climbed on my lap to better see the screen and sat there mesmerized by the TV so how could I turn it off? Now he lost interest but I'm stuck watching.

For today it's Tootsie Pops, but usually chocolate of any kind.

white chocolate for me - and PRINGLES...

Listening to AM radio talk shows (Dr. Laura is a hoot, sometimes, and Rush Limbaugh is OK, when he shuts up and lets callers have their say), local news, or barring boredom, audio books borrowed from the local library and put on my iPod (mystery, mostly, but legal thrillers and boogy-monster thrillers (as in Dean Koontz or Stephen King) are also a good listen)

Mmmm, brings back memories of childhood and trying to make a wine gum (or fruit gum) last as long as possible but the temptation to chew always won. Available in the USA, see

The black ones were always my favorite. I found some in a shop this summer....they didn't taste anywhere as good as I remembered them.

  1. Watching episodes of Law & Order or Star Trek for the 9 millionth time
  2. Gene Simmons Family Jewels

I haven't figured out how to eat and stitch at the same time. How do y'all do it?

Tried to find "Dots" recently and could not - at least not made in the US (just China). And Charleston Chews don't taste the same either.

Sigh - thank heavens for Hersey C

I suppose I should add any Star Trek and any CSI. CSI has become a family addiction.

Now we are on track! If it isn't late, I might sip a glass of wine; if it is late I get up, eat a piece of dark chocolate. wash my hands and go back to stitching.

BTW, Manhattans don't work as easily as wine! Push comes to shove, Diet Coke or Raspberry diet snapple is OK

I refuse to be guilty about a single pleasure. Not one. Life is far too short for that. And I am looking for more of them, stitching related or otherwise. I love to stitch with a good audio book running , a full pot of coffee somewhere within easy running distance, and bright sunshine. And if a nice Swedish ginger thin, or a Laura Secord ginger lychee chocolate (I sense a ginger theme developing here--goes well with fall) should call out to me while I stitch, it will get my immediate and full attention.

I indulge in the taste of malted chocolate balls(the chocolate does not come off on hands). The best is a Hershey bar.But I cant cross stitch at the same time.Melt in your hands. And a can of coke."Saving those points to get a toaster oven".... Saving those tabs for the Blind and the ellipsis foundation. Barbara
