New Freebie for Christmas

Hi everyone,

I have uploaded a new freebie to my needlework tips site today and wondered if anyone would check it out and see if I've missed anything important!

The design is a little Christmas bell worked in bargello needlepoint. You can get to it either from the Needlepoint button on the home page or via the site map I've added.

Let me know what you think, eh?

Regards,

Carol Leather

Carol, I tried your links and could not find the bargello Christmas bell design. I do not know if I did something wrong or if it is not on your site yet. I checked under needlepoint and What's New and could not find it.

You need to go to

and scroll down to the very bottom of the page. It's the last entry.

I must add, it's lovely and well worth a look.

Carol,

I found it! It is a very lovely design and I think you did a great job on the design. I love the way you used the tree pattern to create the bell. Very nice.

Now you make me wish I had a site to show some of my designs.

I just finished a very long project about two weeks ago. It is a stitchers roll, complete with a pin roll, mother-of-pearl thread rings, pocket for the thread ends and needle holder. That is just the inside. I call it Raspberry Pleasures. The outside is done like a sampler. I got the idea after a discussion with some friends who get together at our LNS every week. It has taken about a year and a half to design and stitch. I had too many other projects I wanted to do while working on this design.

Thank you Carol for the gift of your design.

Love it!

Thanks Joan,Now I just have to figure out how to use DH's new digital SLR camera. I think there are more buttons (with multiple functions) than the space shuttle. :) It is really a guy camera. Then I can post some photos of my work.

Do any of you have photos of your embroidery on a webshots album? Would love to see what you have done.

Quite a few of us do. When you go to webshots, in the box that says Search for, type in ndjoan for the ones I have in there.
