New kind of hoop

That's *wonderful* news, Fred! I hope you get enough orders to keep you out of Marjorie's hair! :)

That's what I was thinking- - different company, but a new take on the Q-snaps - with some kind of grip surface inside. The Q-snaps have the ridges inside the cover piece. Looks like this has a handle space kind of on the upper - maybe easier to hold. But it looks like a snap on straight from the top rather than sliding on/off. Next time I'm in Leesburg I'll check the new super JoAnn's - they probably have them. At least I can get a look.

I'm pretty addicted to my Q-snaps - though I use plenty of scroll frames, and stretcher bars, and well, a fair amount of Evertite Adjustable stretcher frames for stuff on canvas.

Ah, better explanation WRT punchneedle. Which reauires really, really, taut fabric. I like the clover thumbscreww hoop for that - it's a bit sturdier than the Susan Bates. And I'm not up for the expensive frames - which are awesome if you do a lot of punchneedle (they have like a strip of wire brush

- reminiscent of a dog brush attached to a wood frame and the fabric is gripped onto the wire).
