No, no, NOOOOOO, not more snow

Sigh - I just checked the weather network and they are forecasting more snow. It is due to hit us on Saturday, and the weather storm warning says it could last 36-48 hours!!!

Depending on the track of the storm we could get as little as 15 cm (5 inches)and as much as 50 cm (18 inches).

The storm is over Texas right now and is due to track north and east, so everyone who is likely to be affected (and YOU know who you are), should make sure you have lots of stitching supplies on hand.

Forget about the hypothetical desert island - I think we have the making of our own.

I spent 2 1/2 hours shovelling the Tuesday/Wednesday snowfall yesterday afternoon; hopefully the soreness from that will have abated before the next onslaught!

I believe that one is to go more into NB - and I am not wishing it on Sharon, we need to think good thoughts for her, her mother was rushed to hospital yesterday - I noticed only because I have people coming on Sunday and wondered if it was going to be iffy, but they say not for Halifax.

I'll do a rain dance for you since I can't divert the storm. I'm going to get rain. That's worse for me as I have a crack in the foundation that can't be repaired until everything dries out. I have a dam of towels to keep it from seeping too much. Just do the spin cycle on the washer and put them back.

You can't sell that place fast enough can you

Well, since there were no crazies who wanted to buy the place, we took it off the market New Years Day, and are keeping local construction guys busy with expensive improvements to it. Guess we are destined to stay Floridians. Such a shame, I was looking forward to a nice New England winter!
