That's a kid for you. I hope it heals quickly.
Better a black eye than the split open forehead my daughter had. It's a Harry Potter scar turned sideways.

This morning - about 36 hours later, it's red, it's scabbed where the skin actually got scrapped and the black eye is actually blooming some more.
She was at the bottom of the pile going down the hill and the top one coming off head first started a chain reaction driving her in to the snow face first.
