Well, the shopping is done, most of the wrapping is done, the cooking is done, the house is a mess and all I really want to do is sit down and stitch. If I could only kick everyone out of the house for a few hours. Instead, DD and I are headed next door for 'cheer' and DH and DS are headed to hockey - natch.

Shopping is done; gifts to ungrateful kids/grandkids gone (we may receive thanks to UPS tracking). A ham for DH and I tomorrow, and a turkey for another couple and us on Xmas. Life is good!! Those of you who knew of the eight year saga with the late lamented MIl will understand that we are dong our own thing!! To her mind, the tree is sparce; to ours it is tasteful and lovely!
DS got married on the 20th ( or such was planned) and I hope to hear from them later this week Today is his birthday, and the new bride is taking him to a Hot Spring for his birthday! I suspect a honeymoon is in there someplace!! . Life IS good!!
