Only a little OT: reuse for denim jeans?

I've done this quilt idea with old camouflage uniforms of my husband (Air Force), both the desert and green patterns. Meant it for the kids to sit on outside, but my youngest dog took it over. Thank goodness I didn't leave any buttons on the pants!

I saw them do tremendous quilting projects with them on QNN-Quilter's News Network the other day.

Thanks for the links Diane.

We are discussing decorating the bedroom (new furniture) at the moment. It sort of evolved from a point we realized we didn't know each other's style since we both came into the house with cast offs from other relatives. Since we are now at a stage in life where we are picking things for ourselves, we figured it might be best to see what we each like. We have pretty much decided on the style of the bedroom furniture and the denim quilt (circular one) would go perfectly.

Don't feel bad Tara

I'm 57 and all of our furniture is STILL 'Early Orange Crate'!

Thanks all for the great ideas! I mentioned making a picnic blanket out of the jeans to DH, and he liked the idea. :-D

LOLOLOL, um, that's actually the design style we agreed on for the bedroom. Well, not orange crate, but a crate based design non the less (though probably in maple). It was a tie between that and the mission style one we saw....only I can easily imagine waking up with my toes caught in one of the slats and my body facing the opposite way. :-) Solid feels safer.
