We have been advised that if we are heading south that we are supposed to be at the airport at least 3 HOURS before departure. H.....ll I can drive to Grand Forks N.D. and blow three credit cards in Menards in half that time.

And have a visit with Joan as well ! We have always had to be at the airport here for three hours prior to a flight to the UK, I believe the only people who benefited were the stores etc in the airport. As we see now the 'security' that cost billions didn't stop the 'terrorist'. Get real people, call for a stop to security and then choose whether to fly or not, depending on the route of your flight it is highly unlikely anything will happen to you.
Now they are going to add body scanners and guess who was the proponent of that and guess who stands to benefit financially ??? No prizes for winning. They must think we are complete fools !!!

When DD and some friends went to Minnesota at New Years to attend a Vikings home game, they dutifully arrived at Regina airport 3 hours early. They then experienced a 5 hour flight delay because United Air Lines had not noticed that it was very very cold and had the engines freeze.

There have been people here who showed up at 3:30 a.m. for a 6:30 a.m. flight but the customs and security people didn't show up until 5:00 a.m.

Sounds like you been talking to my DW! Years ago I gave her a Dayton's club card that I made up. Printed on it was, "This entitles the member to $20 or
