You were right, it is very good. I read the whole book over two days. Very well written.

I really enjoyed it and have recommended it around. The mystery is good, but the characters are what really shine!

I just read it too -- what I do wonder is why the spice box had such a small part in the story -- and will future stories include the box, or include the main characters introduced in this book.
The characters were just so rich and well developed, it's a shame not to continue with them.

I agree. I have a question, though, have either of you read any from her "culinary mystery series"?

No, I haven't. I might see if the local library has them or can find them on ILL. Do you recommend one? I just checked on Amazon and the titles are pretty good.
