DM and I want to thank you who were discussing the Britcom Doc Martin. We had never heard of it as our local PBS station doesn't include it in the Britcoms they air. We decided to try the first episodes of the first season. We just finished watching the first two episodes and really enjoyed it. I hope the rest are as good as they were.

Doc Martin is a delightful piece of viewing. Even my lovely man, who usually considers all things British-TV toxic, loves Doc Martin.

We are getting the DVDs from Netflix. DM can't sit at the computer for long stretches so getting the DVDs works for us. We're still in the dark ages just having gone to digital cable last spring.

Even my DH watches this. He's not thrilled with all the Britcoms, but we love the quirkiness, and can identify with Doc Martin's personality (the science geek thing). Anyhow, I think we've seen about 10 episodes, and now our 2nd PBS station started showing them (the other was doing 2 each week), this one now has shown 2 episodes - so we're getting to see them a 2nd time.
