While waiting for the phone to ring telling me my grandbaby girls are on the way or have arrived, I've been stitching up a storm (you can blame me for the rain ), making little OOAK (one of a kind) dolls and small wall hangings to sell at a charity event. Looking for beads, buttons, etc. to embellish 'em is a good excuse for S E X. A neighbor suggested I sell them but I'm not good at pushing myself forward in person. I'd hate to invest a lot of time and money to create things that might just gather dust on a shop shelf.
I like browsing etsy.com for ideas but have never bought anything from one of their sellers. I'm tempted by the low overhead (pennies for inexpensive items) but wonder if it's worth it.
