OT: Good for a smile

From a friend who lives in Iowa. She had a major stroke and since she can do very little except play with the computer she spends a lot of her time playing bridge online (which is where I met her and got to know her) and combing the web and finding all sorts of jewels.

One doesn't necessarily feel there are great benefits with computers but for people stricken like her, it means everything.

We`re always asking ourselves that question about some of the goodies she sends!!! (Ssshhh! She must have some funny friends - thank goodness!)

More power to her. A former neighbor's Mom had a major stroke and she refused to try anything. It was so sad.
