I know someone here must make greeting cards! Does anyone know of a freebie site that has a list of phrases, etc., you can use in greeting cards? My GS are going to make birthday cards for the Meals on Wheels program and I wanted to give them some inspiration beyond "Happy Birthday."

Check out stamps for "messages" - there are a bunch of "message" ones (my favorite is "may all your weeds be wildflowers"). I think those would all be in the public domain.

One we came up with last night is: Birthdays are like dandelions - they keep popping up!
I think this is going to become an ongoing project - Meals on Wheels likes to give the recipients birthday cards on their special day. Great service project, can always be done if there is a little time left over in a meeting, and encourages the girls to be creative. Teaching them to do needlecraft is next hehehe.
