Speaking of snow, a huge thanks to all of you for bringing winter back and slowing the melting here in the Red River Valley! We got at least

5" yesterday on top of the inch of rain and freezing rain/sleet, so I got a day off because they actually *closed* the university!!!! Only about the 4th time in the 30+ years I've been here.

My voice hasn't been remotely called nice for a long, long time. I now sound very much like a frog with intermittent laryngitis.

Thanks to all of you for your KIND wishes, as for this brat, she doesn't realise I shall be in Saint John this weekend (for a bridge tournament) so if I am surrounded by snow SHE is gonna get it too lololol
